Margin Coaching is an executive and leadership coaching practice run by Daniel Dehrey.

I have worked at a large organization within established structures and at a small, emerging firm still defining itself. I have advised high-growth businesses at all stages. I've worked for trusting managers and difficult ones. I've managed new hires and experienced colleagues. And the most satisfying part of my work has always been in supporting talented professionals find another gear that accelerates their growth in their roles and beyond.

I help clients identify the underlying human systems around them so they can recognize and confidently embrace their opportunities to thrive.

My coaching practice is rooted formally in the Middle Path framework, developed by Chris Holmberg and continuously honed by a small cohort of coaches that meets regularly to enhance our respective practices. My personal coaching style and perspective, however, are informed by my experiences (both professional and personal) and my interests.

Those interests include, but are not limited to: practicing yoga, playing basketball, discovering contemporary art, plenty of reading, learning to play the violin as an adult, and wandering my neighborhood and broader LA area regularly.

Professionally, I have worked for nine years at an international bank servicing the tech sector, most specifically building relationships and advising investors at venture funds and founders of tech startups. Prior to that I spent four years helping build a small VC firm in NYC.
